MGVRP Civilian Roleplay Guidelines

As a civilian in MGVRP, you play an essential part in creating a realistic, immersive, and enjoyable roleplay experience for everyone. To help maintain a smooth and believable RP environment, please follow the expectations outlined below:

Driving Conduct

• Drive Responsibly
  Obey all traffic laws including speed limits, stop signs, and signals. Drive as you would in real life.

• Avoid Reckless Behavior
  No unnecessary speeding, drifting, or crashing. Use vehicles appropriately and realistically.

• Park Properly
  Always park in legal or designated areas. Avoid blocking traffic, driveways, or access points.

Roleplay Expectations

• Stay in Character
  Remain in your civilian role at all times during RP. Use OOC (Out of Character) chat only in designated areas.

• Respect Other Roles
  Allow law enforcement, EMS, and other specialized roles to perform their duties without interference.

• Act Realistically
  Avoid actions that wouldn’t make sense for a civilian, such as fleeing police for no reason or acting heroically in dangerous situations.

Emergency Situations

• Stay Calm
  In accidents or emergency scenarios, remain composed and respond appropriately within your character’s role.

• Assist When Realistic
  If appropriate, help in ways a real civilian might—such as pulling over for emergency vehicles or calling for help.

Respect & Behavior

• Treat Others with Respect
  Avoid trolling, provoking, or arguing with other players. Everyone is here to enjoy the experience.

• Don’t Be Disruptive
  Refrain from spamming, micromanaging others’ RP, or engaging in behavior that detracts from immersion.

Property & Business Conduct

• Manage Your Property
  Keep homes and businesses tidy and in line with server property rules.

• Respect Business Interactions
  Follow guidelines when visiting in-game businesses and treat staff and services respectfully.

Maintaining Realism

• Keep It Grounded
  Avoid over-the-top behavior, chaos, or stunts that break immersion or realism.

• No Powergaming
  Don’t force outcomes or control other players’ actions unfairly. Let RP develop naturally.

• Follow Event Instructions
  Cooperate during server-wide events and follow guidance from staff, moderators, or event organizers.

• Stay Active
  Stay involved in the community, whether you’re roleplaying everyday life or joining larger RP events.
